How to play
Little Bobby Stories are great time fillers for any group. The basic premise is to make up a really long and involved story line with a character called Little Bobby. Now Little Bobby is always a sad and sorry soul, and has a long and tough life.
The end of each and every single Little Bobby story has to end with either no punchline, or a really really bad one. Great for that moment when you have to occupy a group for 10 minutes or so.
An example of a Little Bobby story is 'Little Bobby the ex-tractor fan'. The story starts with Little Bobby as a small child on his grandmother's farm, as the biggest fan of tractors in the world. He has tractor posters and can't wait to grow up and get his tractor licence. He grows up and gets his tractor licence, and one day when he's older he goes to the tractor show. At the tractor show he goes somewhere he is not allowed and is banned from tractors for life. He even has his tractor licence revoked. He then goes to the pub to get over his troubles, but when he's at the pub a fire breaks out. Little Bobby sucks everything up that's on fire and puts it out and saves everyone. Somebody asks him how he did that, and he says: 'It's no problem, I'm an ex-tractor (extractor) fan.'
Make the story as detailed and long as possible. And don't forget the bad punchline.
