How to play
Vampire is a fun but complicated game, so read carefully. Vampire is broken into rounds, and each round is a few minutes long.
Give each participant a small piece of paper, with either a V (Vampire), an O (Onion), or blank (Townsperson). Participants need to keep these pieces of paper in their pockets.
At the start of the game there is one vampire. The vampire's aim is to bite every participant and turn them into vampires. This is done by gently pinching someone's shoulder. The vampire must act with great stealth though, because their identity is unknown, and if anyone finds out they are the vampire it will be easy to avoid being bitten. The vampire can bite as many people as they want each round.
At the end of each round, participants who were bitten are now vampires, and can bite one person per round. Those who weren't bitten continue trying to avoid the vampires. However, they have no idea how many vampires there are now, or who they are.
The participants who were given onions at the start of the game can ward off a vampire, one use only. If they get bitten, they hand over their onion and are safe, for the time being. If they get bitten again, they become a vampire next round. The last person alive at the end wins.
