What to bring
- Paper plates (3 per person)
- Water-based paint
- Blindfolds (1 per team)
- Towels
Before the session
- Ask the group in advance to wear old clothes and shoes that can get painted
- Lay the plates out and pour the paint just before the group arrives
- Arrange somewhere to wash off afterwards
How to play
Set three paper plates per person out at random across the oval and pour paint onto each one. Divide into teams of about four and blindfold one player in each. On your call, teams guide their blindfolded team-mate across the oval by voice alone, avoiding the plates. Standing on a mine freezes the whole team for ten seconds. First team across wins. Run several rounds so everyone gets a turn blindfolded, and mark a clear finish line so the team knows when they are finished.
