What to bring
- Twister mat
- Water-based paint (one colour to match each circle, or similar coloured condiments)
- Drop sheet (if playing indoors)
- Towels
Before the session
- Ask the group in advance to wear old clothes that can get messy
- Choose a space where paint on the ground is not a problem
- Paint the circles just before you start so the paint stays wet
- If using food, check the group for allergies and dietary requirements
How to play
Lay out a Twister mat with the spinner beside it and cover each circle with water-based paint to match its colour. For a messier version use condiments instead, tomato sauce for red and mustard for yellow. Normal Twister rules apply. Paint the circles just before you start so the paint is still wet, and watch closely for slipping, because a painted mat gets slippery faster than anyone expects.
