What to bring
- Eggs (1 per pair, raw, plus a few spares)
- Paper towel
- Hand soap (or wipes, for straight afterwards)
Before the session
- Check the group for allergies and dietary requirements. People with egg allergies can be given other roles such as 'judge'
- Choose an outdoor space where broken egg can be hosed away
- Arrange hand washing for straight after the game
How to play
Pair everyone up and give each pair an egg. Line the pairs up facing their partner about two metres apart. On your call one partner throws and the other tries to catch without breaking it. Every pair that catches takes a step back and throws again. A broken egg is out and that pair sits down. Last pair holding an intact egg wins. Play outside, and get everyone washing their hands straight afterwards, because raw egg on hands is gross!
